Bing! With a title called Bing! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but, I must admit the excitement was tearing through me like a bullet train at top speed. It was my first show at the Fringe! Bing! is written, and created by, Jason Woods. The man is no stranger to the limelight, as he has been performing, acting, writing and entertaining audiences for well over 12 years now. His artistic creativity is on another level, and with an imagination that you could only dream of possessing, Jason takes you on journeys through make-believe worlds that Patrick Ness would be proud of.
Jason is a walking sculpture of art that is plain to see in is conviction and delivery. His quality of showing that one is firmly convinced of what one believes or does can be identified fully in his performances. So Bing, bop ting, let the show begin!

As darkness descends over the auditorium, a single figure emerges from the shadows… with a long trench coat and well presented dress code, Jason immediately grasps the audience’s attention and propels them into the fantasy land of Bellalore.
Dragons, Queens, Witches, Ghosts and Henchmen are all key to this incredible story. The art of storytelling through several characters isn’t easy, but Jason has this unique natural understanding on how it should be done, and switches between characters as smooth as a car changes gears. “Bing!” builds up like a good book. Jasper and Casper are the key characters that are soon interweaved into this magical fantasy land of treachery, betrayal , greed, love and rightfulness.

Within 20 minutes and for the duration of the show, all reality goes out the window, and the land of Bellalore becomes your home. “Bing!” is theatrical, dramatical, absolutely original, heart-warming, and is delivered and executed with sheer passion and professionalism by Jason. “Bing!” is a beautiful story that is a must-see for all-story lovers at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
