Baxter Dury was really good. Funky post-punk poetry that took more than a little from David Bowie’s stagecraft. Part performance poetry His band create the beats A brilliant support and of course his Dad Ian released “Hit Me With Your Rythm Stick” And it was the first 7″ Single I ever bought.

Am really excited for Primal Scream. The stage is being set up as I type. It was a choice between Orbital in Glasgow performing the Green And Brown Long players. Primal Scream won. The Grand Circle Seats have an unobstructed view of the Rock N Roll profeedings. Because I am now classed as disabled. I can get two tickets for the price of one. My phone is about to run out of battery. More later.

I think that this was my first time seeing Primal Scream, But of coirse their music is engrained into my subconscious. Being Divine The DJ. I always drop “Don’t Fight It. Feel It.” because it is such a brilliant song to dance to, produced by the late and great Andrew Weatherall. It was the first tune of The Primal Scream’s performance. The Tour is to promote the new long player. I purchased in the HMV sale. I bought it after I had bought the tickets. it was my getting-ready soundtrack. The gig was a sellout. I purchased the last two tickets available and the reason that I chose The Grand Circle Seats Row D 33 and 34 was for Raymond, as he has a dodgy knee that hurts him too much if he stands too long.

Alas he couldnae make it I could have had the last stall’s ticket. It was nice to have a seat until I couldn’t contain myself and just had to Dance. The people sitting around me were nae impressed, so I limited my moves for the classics. Loaded Swastika Eyes and Rocks Off.

At one point Bobby orchestrated a singalong of the Glasgow anthem “Here we, here we, here we fucking go” Then he had a bit of a tantrum and berated his audience to form a band and sing their own fucking songs. To be fare have never seen a singer that enjoys the “Here We Fucking Go” Glasgow Anthem.

All in all a very satisfying performance that filled all of the senses. Good Time Divine. (I Gave My spare ticket back to the box office as it was a sell oot and I didnae want to waste it).
